Still life

This is a still life I completed recently.  It somewhat differs from my earlier works (see my website).  Besides, this piece is done in acrylics, a medium I haven’t used for figurative works before. I have to stress that the pink background was not my original idea. It is a complementary underpainting color for a light bluish-green which was my original choice for a background. However, once applied,  I kind of liked its interaction with other warm colors, so I left it.
